In our second episode, we explore the first of the 5 essentials, Dissatisfaction. We learn that despite Paul’s stellar Christian life, he was not satisfied with his spiritual state. Pastor Bartlett points out that comparison with other Christians can often feed the false narrative of satisfaction with where we are spiritually. Instead, we must compare our lives to Jesus'. The acknowledgment of your imperfections is a mark of spiritual maturity.
