One Thing: Lacking | Sunday Sermon

This lesson, based on Mark 10:17–22, examines the encounter between Jesus and the rich young ruler, highlighting that outward morality and religious activity cannot secure eternal life. Jesus exposed the man's false understanding of goodness and revealed that his wealth had become an idol, preventing him from fully loving and following God. The message warns believers against placing confidence in their works, gifts, possessions, or anything else above Christ. Ultimately, the lesson teaches that the one thing lacking in every life apart from salvation is Jesus Himself, and that eternal life is found only through faith in and devotion to Him.
