Dying Is Necessary | Sunday Sermon

In John 12:20–26, Jesus uses the request of some Greeks who wish to see Him to declare that His hour of glorification—His death—is near. He explains that like a grain of wheat that must die to bear fruit, His death is necessary to bring forth spiritual life for many. The message emphasizes that true discipleship requires dying to self—letting go of pride, self-importance, and worldly attachments—to live fruitfully for God. Ultimately, Jesus teaches that those who serve and follow Him in humility and sacrifice will be honored by the Father and share in His eternal life.
