An Acceptable Gift | Sunday Sermon

The birth of Jesus Christ represents the ultimate gift from God, demonstrating His divine love and purpose for humanity. Matthew 1:18–25 highlights Joseph’s acceptance of Mary and the child conceived by the Holy Spirit, reflecting his obedience and faith in God's plan. Luke 1:26–38 captures Mary’s encounter with the angel Gabriel, revealing her humble yet faithful acceptance of God's favor and the miraculous conception of Jesus. Together, these passages emphasize that God's gift of Jesus, the Savior, is an intentional act of love meant to redeem and transform lives, making it the most acceptable and cherished gift of all.
