A Memorial For Repentance | Sunday Sermon

This message presents God’s immense goodness in salvation, showing from Joshua 24 that Israel’s deliverance and inheritance were entirely God’s work, not the result of human effort. Remembering this grace leads naturally to repentance and a call for wholehearted, exclusive devotion to the Lord, rejecting all idols and divided loyalties. Joshua’s covenant renewal challenges God’s people to count the cost and serve Him sincerely, knowing He is holy and will not share His glory. For believers today, Christ and the indwelling Holy Spirit are our greater witness, calling us daily to lay aside every hindrance, remember Jesus, and respond in ongoing repentance and faithful obedience.
