We Are The Righteousness of God Pt. 2 | Sunday Sermon

This lesson explains that The Holy Bible teaches a “great exchange” in which Jesus Christ, though completely sinless, took upon Himself the sins of believers so that they could receive His righteousness before God. It emphasizes the doctrine of double imputation: our sins were credited to Christ, and His perfect righteousness is credited to us, meaning salvation is based entirely on Christ’s work and not on human effort. The message also highlights that believers are already accepted and perfected in God’s sight through Christ, not because of their own goodness, but because they are clothed in His righteousness. Finally, the lesson encourages Christians to live confidently and joyfully in the assurance that all their sins are forgiven and that they stand before God fully accepted in Jesus Christ.
