The Road To Beracah | Sunday Sermon

In 2 Chronicles 20, King Jehoshaphat is confronted with a terrifying alliance of enemy nations coming against Judah, prompting him to seek the Lord through nationwide prayer and fasting. In response, God speaks through a prophet, assuring the people that the battle is not theirs but His, and instructing them to stand firm and witness His deliverance. As they worship and obey, God miraculously causes the enemy armies to destroy one another without Judah lifting a finger. The people of Judah then gather abundant spoil and rename the battlefield the Valley of Beracah—meaning blessing—rejoicing in the victory and favor of God.
