The Doctrine of God - Lesson 36 | The Providence Of God Pt. 5 | Grow In Grace

The lesson explains that God’s providence means He preserves, cooperates with, and governs all creation to fulfill His purposes. His revealed will gives commands for human conduct, while His secret will includes eternal decrees that guide all events, even those that seem evil, toward His greater glory. Human responsibility is never removed, since our choices and actions have real consequences, including obedience, sin, or prayer. Therefore, trust in God’s providence must be combined with responsible action, as shown in Scripture through examples like Joab in battle and Paul during the storm.
