The Doctrine of God - Lesson 35 | The Providence Of God Pt. 4 | Grow In Grace

This lesson teaches that God’s providence means He preserves, directs, and governs everything in creation to fulfill His purposes. While God allows evil to occur through human choices and actions, He never directly does evil nor can He be blamed for it. Scripture shows that even the most wicked act, the crucifixion of Jesus, was part of God’s plan to bring salvation, carried out by sinful men who were still fully responsible. Ultimately, though we cannot fully explain how God ordains events and yet holds people accountable, we affirm that He uses all things, even evil, for His glory and the good of His people.
