The Doctrine of God - Lesson 29 | The Trinity Pt. 7 | Grow In Grace

This study explores key biblical passages to clarify the doctrine of the Trinity, particularly distinguishing the Son from the Father while affirming their shared divine essence. Isaiah 9:6’s title “Everlasting Father” is examined as a description of the Messiah’s eternal nature, not a claim that Jesus is the Father. Jesus' teachings in John 14 and other passages emphasize His preexistence and distinction from the Father, while also asserting that He perfectly reveals the Father. The lesson concludes that Jesus and the Father are distinct persons who are identical in divine nature, upholding a Trinitarian understanding of God.
