The Doctrine of God - Lesson 23 | The Trinity Pt. 1 | Grow In Grace

The lesson on the Trinity discusses the foundational Christian doctrine that God exists as one being in three distinct persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It emphasizes the critical distinction between "being" (what something is) and "person" (who someone is), noting that while God is one in essence, He exists as three persons, each fully God. It argues that the Old Testament contains partial revelations of the Trinity, such as the plural language in Genesis and the distinct roles of the Spirit, the Angel of the Lord, and God the Father. The lesson also highlights that this understanding of God's triune nature is progressively revealed and culminates in the New Testament, aligning with the doctrine's full articulation in Christian theology.
