The study explores God's attributes—His will, freedom, and omnipotence—defining His will as the ultimate reason for all events. It distinguishes between God’s necessary and free will, as well as His secret (decretive) and revealed (command) will. Using scripture, it highlights how God ordains events without endorsing sin, exemplified by Jesus’ death and Pharaoh’s hardened heart. These tensions serve His greater purposes, such as revealing His glory and fulfilling salvation. The study concludes by examining how God hardens hearts, including the Israelites, to accomplish His redemptive plan.
