Angelology - Lesson 8 | Grow In Grace

This lesson teaches that Satan and demons are fallen angels who rebelled against God after creation, with Satan’s fall occurring before humanity’s sin and setting the stage for the Fall in Eden. Scripture suggests that while many angels followed Satan, God elected others who are eternally secure and unable to fall, highlighting divine election even among angels. Satan is presented as a real, personal being—the originator of sin, a murderer, and the father of lies—whose deception brought spiritual and physical death into the world. Believers are warned that Satan and demons continually oppose God’s work, seeking opportune moments to tempt and destroy, but victory is found through the Word of God and reliance on the Holy Spirit.
