Angelology - Lesson 15 | Grow in Grace

The lesson teaches that persistent sin in a believer’s life can create vulnerability to demonic influence, though the individual remains responsible for their choices . It explains that the Bible does not support the common term “demon possession,” but instead describes “demonization” as being under demonic influence, primarily observed in unbelievers . The central argument is that genuine believers, indwelt and sealed by the Holy Spirit, cannot be possessed by demons, though they may still experience spiritual attacks or oppression . Consequently, believers are encouraged to resist such attacks through prayer, righteous living, and the use of spiritual disciplines like the Word of God and the “armor of God”.
