Angelology - Lesson 11 | Grow In Grace

This lesson teaches that although Satan and demons are real and active, they are not omniscient or all-powerful—only God knows the future and the thoughts of the human heart. Scripture shows increased demonic activity during Jesus’ ministry, highlighting Christ’s supreme authority as He bound the “strong man” and advanced the Kingdom of God, extending that authority to His followers. While demons influence the world through deception, false teaching, and opposition to the gospel, the New Testament emphasizes personal responsibility, sound doctrine, and holy living rather than an overemphasis on rebuking demonic forces. Ultimately, believers are called to maturity in Christ, resisting the devil through obedience, truth, and reliance on the power of the Holy Spirit.
